Next show will be held on

1st February 2020

The Show committee would like to express our sympathy and understanding for those caught up in the recent bushfires and for many of us caught up in this long drought.  We pray this drought breaks soon and provides us with plenty of rain.

The 2020 Nimmitabel Show will be proceeding on Saturday 1st February with a slightly altered schedule.

The 2020 Main Show Schedule is out is varies stores in Cooma and Nimmitabel and can be downloaded here.

Unfortunately this year the difficult decision has been made to cancel our Horse Schedule. Following advice from the LLS and concern for animal welfare, as well as cancellation of the yard dog trials and chainsaw events.

Entry will only cost $5 per person or $10 per vehicle with 2 or more passengers. Profit from the gate will be donated to local service organisations who are supporting those in need during this time.

Come and meet our 2020 our Showgirl, Georgie Constance and our  Rural Achiever is Damien Roach.

The popular Show Shear, will feature some young talented shearers that are a must to watch.  This event is held in the 3 stand shearing board built by our wonderful community volunteers.

The 'Junior Showgirl Competition' is back.  There are 4 categories from Newborns through to teenager (17 yrs).  Entry forms are on this website, so enter early.

This year we will have a lot more fun fill events which all ages can participate in.  Keep any eye on our social media pages for more details closer to show day.  Plus the awesome event for the kids is the Nimmitabel Bushkid's Challenge.  This event has proved very popular.  There is good prize money up for grabs.   Ages from 5 to 12 years can enter.

The Stud and Commercial Cattle sections are still going ahead and we already have many booked in, so the competition should be high.  The new and improved sheep shed means that the Judging Competition is now under cover and the Sheep Section events will flow smoothly throughout the day.

Check our Facebook page  and our Instagram for regular updates, you might even find yourself pictured.

See you all on 1st February 2020.  The place to be is at the Nimmitabel show. You won't want to miss it!
